Night At The Races WUN Town Hall Recap

The Night At The Races WUN Town Hall took place on August 3rd, where Vincent Arthur, a driver living with Narcolepsy, had his first race at Hickory Motor Speedway!

Despite having to deal with his radio coming unplugged, leaving him to drive blind without his spotter, and a miscommunication that led to starting at the rear of the field again, Vincent finished in position 8! His car featured WUN on the bumper!

Vincent shared that the race was all about learning for him and that he had never turned a lap in a car like that before the day of the race. He loves being able to use his passion for driving to start more conversations about Narcolepsy, break down stigma and prove that dreams can be reached while living with it!

Joining Vincent at the track was Blake Grisco, a racing enthusiast! Blake is the son of a WUN board member and brother to a person living with Narcolepsy. It was wonderful to have him there representing WUN while cheering on Vincent for his first race.

If you’d like to watch Vincent’s future virtual races in his car featuring the WUN colors and logo, NORA Cup Series races are broadcast on YouTube every Tuesday night at 8:30pm ET.

WUN Town Halls sponsors include Jazz Pharmaceuticals & Takeda Pharmaceuticals.
